Professional Profile
Dr Jaring graduated from Imperial College London School of Medicine in 2011 and completed his junior doctor rotations in the Severn Deanery, mainly based in Bristol. He then spent a year as a junior clinical fellow in general surgery at Addenbrooke’s Hospital and was an anatomy demonstrator at the University of Cambridge.
Following this he completed his specialty training in Clinical Radiology on the Severn rotation, sub-specialising in Musculoskeletal Radiology.
Upon completing specialty training he undertook a fellowship in musculoskeletal radiology at the Nuffield Orthopaedic Centre and John Radcliffe Hospitals in Oxford. This fellowship gave further opportunity to develop skills in bone and soft tissue sarcoma imaging, spinal radiology and intervention, rheumatological radiology, sports imaging and major trauma.
He was appointed as a Consultant Musculoskeletal Radiologist at Southmead Hospital, Bristol in 2019, joining after the completion of his fellowship.
He has a broad interest in all aspects of musculoskeletal radiology, particularly in spinal radiology, rheumatology and the management of thoracic outlet syndrome.
He has authored multiple publications in peer reviewed journals and has presented at national and international radiology conferences.
