Dr Julian Chakraverty, is a Consultant Musculoskeletal Radiologist at the University Hospitals of Bristol. He completed his radiology training in South Wales, and undertook further specialist training in musculoskeletal radiology at the Royal Orthopaedic Hospital in Birmingham. He completed a specialist fellowship in musculoskeletal imaging and intervention in Bristol, prior to taking up his consultant post in 2015.
Dr Chakraverty completed core training in Trauma and Orthopaedic Surgery before commencing his radiology training. He also trained in Osteopathy prior to his medical degree.
Dr Chakraverty has published widely in the peer reviewed osteopathic, orthopaedic and radiology literature.
He has special interests in sports imaging, femoroacetabular impingement, hamstring injuries and musculoskeletal image guided intervention.
